Kicking off 2021 with very big news, Williams Jet Tenders announced it is investing more than £1 million in a major expansion of its 80,000 square foot UK manufacturing facility. The Oxfordshire location will include a new, state-of-the-art molding facility and, when completed, will be capable of producing more than 1,000 tenders per year. The move is in response to the exceptional demand for the company’s world-class tenders.
The upgraded production facility will include a 6-ton gantry crane, plus additional lifting, handling and testing equipment, and be dedicated to production of the company’s newest line – the EvoJet. It also positions Williams to be able to manufacture even larger models in the future.
With the upgraded facilities, Williams Jet Tenders will be able to control all elements of the manufacturing process, ensuring complete quality control over every tender they produce. It also allows the company to focus on reductions in emissions and waste.
The investment is just one of many upgrades the company has implemented recently. They’ve also introduced new models, implemented existing model upgrades and refreshes, and increased the standard tender warranty from two years to three.
“Last year was a landmark year for the company, which has continued into 2021,” co-founder and director John Hornsby said. “We have implemented many new changes and have set out key goals and ambitions for the next five years. These decisions are all part of future-proofing our company and facilities to enable our product and business plans.”
This UK expansion perfectly aligns with Williams’ growth in the North American market. With Williams US headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida, a seasonal showroom in Sag Harbor, New York, and additional satellite offices and showrooms in the Great Lakes region, San Diego, California, Canada, and St. Maarten, Williams Jet Tenders luxury and performance is accessible to boating enthusiasts throughout North America and the Caribbean.
